Our Mentorship Program
The MRF Mentorship Program is designed to equip High School young men (ages 16-20) with the mentorship, skills, and tools needed to be successful in every area of their lives, including education and career.
The program also offers sports activities and monthly outings that broadens their scope and potential future.
Due to the generosity of Fiserv, our program includes state of the art equipment and resources to foster a greater mentorship environment. Our teens meet with their mentors and take part in various interactive courses such as etiquette, identity, and college and career readiness.
In partnership with Atlantic, Tomorrow's Office, Ricoh and Konica Minolta, students participate in vocational training receiving certifications in copier technology, digital design and Adobe. Students are also exposed to and prepared for local employment opportunities upon completion.
Trusted Mentors
The MRF Mentoring Program strategically pairs high school aged young men with trusted adults within the community. Our mentors come from a variety of career and cultural backgrounds including influential individuals in sports, medicine, business, and finance. They undergo a thorough vetting process and training to ensure that compatible matches are established for our young men.
