Mariano Rivera was raised in Puerto Caimito, Panama, growing up playing baseball with his friends. The obstacles he faced both as a child and as he entered his baseball career helped to shape his approach to life. Through commitment and perseverance, he developed skills and virtues that would become keys to his success, contributing to one of the most successful careers in Major League Baseball, and the only player ever to be unanimously selected to the Hall of Fame.

Clara Rivera
Clara Rivera is the founder and Senior Pastor of Refuge of Hope Church in New Rochelle, New York. She is married to Mariano Rivera and together they have three sons, Mariano, Jafet and Jaziel. Her aspiration is to mobilize people ro meet the needs of the community through leadership, volunteerism, and inclusion.

Russell Silberglied is “a brilliant litigator” who is “very conscientious, hard-working, detail-oriented and really smart” (Chambers USA).
Russ’s bankruptcy practice includes both core chapter 11 work and litigation. His litigation practice includes breach of fiduciary duty suits, equitable subordination and recharacterization litigation, valuation fights, and contested plan confirmation and DIP financing hearings.
In core bankruptcy matters, Russ represents debtors and creditors in chapter 11 and chapter 15 cases, and also advises troubled companies on non-bankruptcy solutions. His peers consider him “one of these guys who knows everything—an encyclopedia for case law” (Chambers USA).
In addition, Russ regularly advises boards of directors of troubled companies concerning their fiduciary duties and corporate governance issues. He frequently lectures and publishes articles on these topics.

James Kaplan
Mr. Kaplan is co-founder and CEO of KB Financial Partners, LLC in Princeton, New Jersey, which has been a Member Firm of M Financial since 2008. Mr. Kaplan works with the KB Financial team to develop the overall strategy of the firm and leads the effort to continually refine and improve client offerings. He has a 36-year history of advising high net worth clients in the areas of sophisticated estate, wealth transfer and investment planning strategies. Mr. Kaplan received a BA in Political Science and Government from Lehigh University. He holds the CLU designation and is a member of AALU. Mr. Kaplan serves as a member of the Board of Directors of M Financial Holdings, Inc. as well as M Life Insurance Company and the Princeton Day School Leadership Gift Committee. He is additionally involved with a number of local charities focused on providing food for the underserved.

Lisa Trevino Cummins
Lisa Trevino Cummins founded Urban Strategies in 2003. She leads the company’s efforts to formulate strategic partnerships and design relevant and effective programs to strengthen and expand the capacity of grass roots organizations. She brings to her role experience in both the private and public sector.
Since founding Urban Strategies, Lisa has been a catalyst of several initiatives that has resulted in almost $40 million of new programming focused in low-income communities. A national expert, Lisa has been instrumental in the formation of Chicago’s Family Bridges, FuturoNow Family Strengthening Initiative, the National Alliance for Hispanic Families, Center for New Communities, and the Reclamando Nuestro Futuro project for adjudicated youth initiative, Lisa recently co-authored “INHERITANCE: Discovering the Richness of Latino Culture and Family.”

Jasmine McNealy
Jasmine E. McNealy is an associate professor in the Department of Telecommunication, in the College of Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida, where she studies information, communication, and technology with a view toward influencing law and policy. Her research focuses on privacy, online media, and communities. Jasmine is also the Associate Director - Marion B. Brechner First Amendment Project. She holds a PhD in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Media Law, and a J.D. from the University of Florida, and a Bachelor of Science degree in both Journalism and Afro-American studies from the University of Wisconsin.

Joseph J. DePaolo has been President and Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Signature Bank since its inception. He has also served as a Director of Signature Securities Group since its inception and served as its Chairman of the Board until December 2006. Prior to joining Signature Bank, Mr. DePaolo was a Managing Director and member of the Senior Management Committee of the Consumer Financial Services Division at Republic National Bank, which he joined in 1988. At Republic National Bank, Mr. DePaolo held numerous positions including First Vice President and Deputy Auditor, First Vice President and Senior Vice President of Consumer Banking, Managing Director, Chairman of Republic Financial Services Corporation (Republic National Bank's retail broker dealer group) and Chairman of Republic Insurance Agency (Republic National Bank's retail insurance agency). Prior to joining Republic National Bank, Mr. DePaolo was a senior audit manager with KPMG Peat Marwick. Mr. DePaolo is a member of the New York State Society of CPAs.
